About Michał
Software quality leader, speaker and author. Where I can help, and how to book a QA coffee.
I help teams know when software is good enough to ship.

What I do
For nearly 20 years I've worked on one question: how do you decide, with evidence, that software is ready to ship? Today I lead software quality at Carrier/Viessmann, where I hold quality approval for product software releases across 25+ R&D teams and 400+ engineers, covering IoT platforms, cloud, mobile, embedded and ASPICE-governed automotive work.
On the side, I built BowSmith, an iOS archery app, by directing teams of AI agents from idea to App Store launch. It's my lab for what quality looks like when machines write most of the code, and the source of most of what I write and speak about.
Where I can genuinely help
- Release decisions you can defend. Quality gates, maturity reviews and release sign-off that work across many teams, not just one.
- Quality in regulated and safety-critical work. ASPICE, ISO 26262, IoT and embedded delivery, without drowning teams in paperwork.
- AI-assisted delivery that stays trustworthy. How to orchestrate AI agents, and what evidence and gates you need before you trust their output.
- Turning testers into AI operators. Reshaping QA roles and skills so your quality people become more valuable as AI arrives, not less.
- Root-cause analysis that sticks. Coaching 8D and A3 so problems get fixed once.
- Building and growing quality teams. I've grown a functional testing unit from 10–12 to 30+ specialists and led quality transformations for enterprise clients.
- Moving from QA lead to quality leader. Mentoring for people stepping into management.
What I'm not the right fit for: cheap outsourced test execution or tool resale. I work on decisions, systems and people.

Let's talk
If something about quality, release decisions or AI-assisted delivery is on your desk, book a coffee or message me on LinkedIn. I read everything, and I'd rather have a useful conversation than a polished pitch.
